What's your favorite ice cream flavor?

Do you prefer chocolatey options like rocky road and s'mores, vanilla ones like cookies n crème and moose tracks, or those that are entities of their own like strawberry, pistachio, and coffee? And we haven't even gotten into the presentation. Cup or cone? No toppings or all the toppings? The possibilities are endless.

We've previously talked about how New England has some of the best ice cream shops in the nation. Now, a website called Taste of Home is sharing their thoughts on the best place for ice cream in each state. Their selection for Massachusetts is a Cambridge creamery that uses locally-sourced ingredients to make top-notch ice cream from scratch.

Honeycomb Creamery in Cambridge, Massachusetts

There's a reason why Honeycomb Creamery has been featured in sources like The Boston Globe, and Eater Boston, and it's not just because they serve great ice cream. The staff pride themselves on using local, in-season ingredients to create one-of-a-kind flavors just for you. As their website says,

We hope they inspire our customers to try new flavor combinations and experience  ice cream in a way they never have before. By keeping our batches of ice cream small, each scoop and each pint is different from the next.

Taste of Home praises several of the shop's unique ideas, and you can see them all here. In the meantime, check out these pictures from their Facebook. Let's just say that yours truly will definitely be visiting next time she's in the Cambridge area.
