The first two months of summer 2026 brought some fresh new food options to New Hampshire.

Eight restaurants opened their doors in June and July, including pubs, cafes, sandwich shops, and Greek and Mexican eateries.

From Keene to Portsmouth, these debut options (and one seemingly done for good but revived with a revamp) signal the continued dining growth in the Granite State. And that's a great thing for sure.

New Hampshire Restaurants That Opened in June and July 2026

For those looking to indulge in the trifecta of barbecue, bourbon, and beer, the Lost Cowboy Taproom in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, opened in June 2026.

Its original sister location in Nashua, Lost Cowboy Brewing Co., premiered in May 2024.

You might even recognize the new spot's chef and owner, Michael Buckley, who has also been involved with several other New Hampshire restaurants, including Surf in Portsmouth and Buckley’s Great Steaks in Merrimack.

Over in Epping, the Great Greek Mediterranean Restaurant opened its third Granite State location in July 2026.

Its website highlights that the franchised establishment serves fresh, high-quality Greek dishes that are "healthier than most of [its] fast, casual restaurant competitors."

And that's just a taste of the new restaurants that have arrived in New Hampshire. Let's take a look:

Surprised to see Yellow Bell Cafe on the list? The spot did, in fact, close after only about a year, according to MyKeeneNow.com. And that was seemingly final.

Yet, The Keene Sentinel revealed in June that new life would be breathed into the location through new ownership and a revamped dinner.

How awesome is that?
