New Owners Give 5 Revelations About the Harvey’s Bakery Building in Downtown Dover, NH
Remember earlier this year when Harvey's bakery broke our hearts and dared to taka rest after 93 years in business? Yeah, I remember that too.
After we dried our tears, we have been wondering, what will the new owners of the building do with it?
The Airey Brothers Are the New Owners of the Harvey's Bakery in Dover, NH
I had the opportunity to talk to Matt and Ben Airey of Airey Brothers Property Network and they gave me 5 revelations about what is next for the iconic building. Here are a few of their words:
#1: The Harvey's Space is Going to be Split to Fit
In my opinion, we are pretty much 90% sure - we don't need one tenant for downstairs, we're gonna need two. So we think that big Harvey space is going to be split in two.
#2: Don't Need or Can't Afford All That Square Footage? They Got You.
So, for those who have great ideas, don't be intimidated by how big Harvey's was. It will be more affordable, it will be smaller. You can take your great idea and make it thrive with lower overhead.
3. The First Floor Could be Residential Housing for ADA Families
We also think that entire first floor doesn't have to be just commercial. There's a tremendous need for ADA Housing. Even if we could just squeeze in two ADA housing units, that would change 2 families lives.

4. The City is Helping Them Get a Picture of the Dover, NH Consumer
A picture of the consumer in Dover is a 37 year old woman who is successful in her own right. That's the buyer in Dover.
The 5th and Best Revelation, in my book:
Bring that business idea to us. If you don't have enough money, maybe Ben and I will go into it as a partner with you. At the end of the day, we are business men, we are family men... We want what's best for Dover.
Now is your time. If you have ever had a business idea and thought you couldn't do it on your own or you don't have enough money, etc., now could be your perfect opportunity.
