
Yep, 4 Raising Cane’s Restaurants Opened in Massachusetts in 2025
Can you imagine how crunchy, tasty, and downright delicious some fresh, warm chicken fingers would taste right about now?
Well, if you're in Massachusetts, there's no need to wonder because Raising Cane's debuted four new locations in 2025.
That includes its most recent opening in December in Worcester, continuing the chain restaurant's expansion in New England.
When Did the First Raising Cane's Open in Massachusetts?
Raising Cane's is a fast-food restaurant chain that first opened in Louisiana in 1996, serving up cooked-to-order "craveable" chicken fingers.
According to the Boston Herald, its first Massachusetts location, and the first in New England, was on the Boston University campus in 2009. The newspaper noted at the time that the next closest Raising Cane's was all the way in Virginia.
You might be surprised to know that the popular chicken spot didn't get its next Massachusetts locations until nearly 15 years later. CBS News reported that another Boston spot, as well as a Marlborough location, opened in 2023.
Can you believe it took that long for the popular place to get more restaurants up here?
A third Boston Raising Cane's would open in 2024, as well as ones in Seekonk, Medford and Methuen.
Where Did Raising Cane's Open in Massachusetts in 2025?
In 2025, Raisine Cane's saw its locations jump from seven to 11 in Massachusetts.
According to Mass Live, the restaurant opened its eighth Massachusetts location in Framingham on May 20, 2025.
Just a few months later, Wicked Local reported that a Saugus location opened on June 3, 2025.
Not long after that, The Herald News stated that a Fall River spot opened on August 5, 2025.
Then, to cap things off like an early Christmas present, Worcester debuted its Raising Cane's, the fourth of the year, on December 16, according to The Telegram.

It certainly feels like the restaurant is on a roll as its popular chicken continues to draw crowds with each opening.
And it appears that this isn't even close to the end for Raising Cane's in New England.
There are locations across 44 states, with Massachusetts having the most locations in New England.
There's even news of a brand-new New Hampshire Raising Cane's opening in 2026.
Maine and Vermont are lacking a Raising Cane's, though, according to The Hill, the restaurant hopes to operate in every state in the country.
Massachusetts clearly has hunger for Raising Cane’s, with more locations than any other New England state and counting. Plus, after a big 2025, it’s hard not to wonder which city will be next, and how soon people will be lining up for those delicious chicken fingers.
