One Killed in Berwick, Maine, Christmas Eve Crash
Speeding is being blamed by police for a fatal crash in Berwick on Sunday.
A Ford Fiesta went off Long Swamp Road, hit several trees, and rolled over, according to Berwick Police. The lone occupant was pronounced dead at the scene.
Neither the identity of the driver nor the time of the crash were disclosed by police.
Police asked anyone with information about the crash to call 207-698-1136 option #1.
It is the 15th fatal crash in York County and and first in Berwick in 2023, according to Maine Department of Transportation records.
