Powerball Ticket Worth $2 Million Sold in Maine
A Powerball ticket sold in Maine for Saturday's drawing is worth $2 million, as the multi-state game's jackpot grows yet again to be the fourth biggest ever.
The numbers drawn for the eye-popping jackpot were white balls 47, 54, 57, 60, 65, and red Powerball 19.
The Power Play multiplier was 3X. The ticket sold in Maine matched all five white balls and was worth a $1 million prize. The Power Play multiplier was also played, increasing the ticket's value to $2 million.
The Maine Lottery did not yet disclose where the winning ticket was sold.
Winning tickets in New Hampshire
A New Hampshire Lottery ticket worth $50,000 for matching four of five winning numbers and the Powerball number was sold at Haffner's on Tenney Mountain Road in Plymouth, according to spokeswoman Maura McCann.
"Just shy of $253,000 in Powerball prizes were won Saturday night by New Hampshire players," McCann told Seacoast Current in an email.
No Powerball ticket has won the jackpot, which increases to an annuity value of $1.55 billion ($679.8 million cash) for Monday's drawing, the fourth largest in the game's history.
A Mega Millions jackpot sold at the Hometown Gas & Grill in Lebanon in January was Maine's first jackpot winner. No ticket sold in Maine has won the Powerball jackpot.
Powerball has gone 34 drawings without a jackpot winner. The third largest ever offered was to players of the game in 45 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
