New England Superstar John Cena Responds to His Controversial Viral Video
John Cena Viral Video at Restaurant
Toward the end of last week, we highlighted the viral video of John Cena that was blowing up and creating controversy surrounding his response.
In case you missed it, John was spotted dining at a restaurant with an open-air window by a fan, and the fan requested John to do his infamous "You can't see me" hand motion that blew up in popularity back in his earlier WWE days.
John's response of, "How about can I enjoy some time with my friends?" left everyone at odds on whether he was being rude or politely letting the fan know that it wasn't the right place or time to request anything.
John Cena at WWE 'Money in the Bank'
Over the weekend, WWE was in London, England, putting on their 'Money in the Bank' Premium Live Event. Ironically, John was also in London filming an upcoming movie he's starring in with Idris Elba and Priyanka Chopra and decided to surprise WWE fans with an impromptu appearance.
And it was during his surprise 'Money in the Bank' appearance that John addressed the recent viral video by referencing it verbatim while interacting with WWE superstar Grayson Waller, who interrupted John's promo to the crowd (much in the way he was interrupted at the restaurant with his friend.)
While attempting to exit the ring, Grayson put his hand on John's chest to stop him, mentioning that no one says no to him, which triggered John to begin reciting exactly what he did in the viral TikTok video.
Say again?
And when Grayson repeated his line, John went on with the dialogue heard in the viral video.
How about can I enjoy some time with my friends?
