Kids Can Learn About Archery With Bryant Pond 4-H Shooting Sports Tomorrow

Tomorrow your kids can learn about archery and how to shoot a bow and arrow, as well as laser rifle shooting from 10 to 2:30.

Certified archery instructors from Bryant Pond 4-H Shooting Sports will be on hand to teach kids 9 and older how to shoot a bow, along with basic safety practices, from 10 a.m. to noon.

Then from 12:30-2:30 p.m., it's laser riflery.  Instructors will teach shot placement using 3-D targets while also covering hunting ethics and basic gun handling. This is for kids 6 and older.

Kids will learn self-confidence, self discipline, responsibility, leadership and life skills.

It all happens at Maine Wildlife Park, 56 Game Farm Road in Gray. The cost is anywhere from $5.50 to $7.50
