I must admit, I love miniature golf. There's really nothing to not love. Its quick, fun, doable even with an adult beverage, family-friendly, and sometimes downright challenging.

The Maine course scene is great. There are countless courses that bring a great level of fun, creativity and challenging play. And then there's this one...that you could say is prehistorically badass.

Located in Arundel is the Jurassic Park of Maine, called Raptor Falls Mini Golf & Ice Cream (everyone knows you need to have ice cream at a mini golf joint).

Opened in 2019, Raptor Falls is a 18-hole mini golf course, with locally-made ice cream and animatronic dinosaurs, including a triceratops, raptors, and the legendary tyrannosaurus rex. They are all over the course, and even play a big role in some of them.

In fact, the who course is dedicated to the extinct beasts, mixed in with beautiful water features, creatively-theme holes, dino-shaped greens, unique hardscapes, and beautiful landscaping. It's fit for any dinosaur fanatic and/or mini golf enthusiast.

According to Raptor Falls' website, the course was the dream of owners, Bree and Cliff Gajtkowski. That dream became a reality and is now about to open for its third summer.

Opening day is Saturday, April 30 from 10a - 7p. The hours stay the same until Friday, May 6, when the course closes at 8p. Greens fees and group ticket options can all be found on Raptor Falls website. Happy putting, everyone. And try not to anger any of the dinosaurs with bad play.
