The date has been set for the grand opening of The Perfect Spell…

If you have seen every "Harry Potter" movie (and/or read all the books), you are going to love this magical new restaurant in Freeport, Maine, where you can enjoy a "mystical" dinner theater experience. The Perfect Spell had to pull a rabbit out of a hat, so to speak, to get this place ready to open after the Pownal location fell through, according to the Sun Journal. Pownal town officials reportedly refused to give the owners, Joseph Richards and Marcus Verrill, a change-of-use permit for the original location at 83 Fickett Road in North Pownal. The Sun Journal says the denial happened right before the restaurant was supposed to open.

The new location at 9 Mechanic Street reportedly has the proper permits and licenses to operate in Freeport, and the opening date has been set. The Perfect Spell will finally open its doors on Halloween night, as per the theatrical restaurant's official Facebook page. The owners also announced that they are already 70% sold out for the year. They are also speculating that the place may sell out completely before next Thursday. Today would be a good day to reserve a table before this happens. Make reservations here.
