Look: Maine’s ‘Bumble Bee Bandit’ Really Went Hard On This One Building in Portland
Back at it again with the bee's of Portland. Honestly they're cute little destructive things, and ironically exactly how every one of my exes would probably describe me. You know, I was told by somebody if I write about this, it might make the "artist" want to continue doing this to the city, but I think the artist doesn't need a blog to be provoked. He or she has been seeing the spot light for quite some time now, whether it's on TV, or in a Portland Press Herald article that I read the other day. Overall, it seems like these graffiti bees are making more people happy than upset. Don't get me wrong though, and I've said this before, if I was a local business owner and got tagged on the front of my store, I'd be pretty damn upset.
So here's the update. I had talked about the painted bees in One City Center in Portland on air on Krissy in the Morning, and the next day I woke up to a new huge bee painted on the building across from mine. That wasn't the only thing painted way above the roof tops. The mysterious bee bandit had also spray painted my name ontop of a building. Check this out:
Honestly, I think this is absolutely hilarious. While I still stand on my opinion that graffiti on local store business fronts isn't cool, these bee's are making most of Portland smile, or so I've been told.
