Maine Savings Pavilion Hosting Virtual Concerts To End Hunger
The Maine Savings Pavilion may be a bit quiet this year due to the pandemic but they're still bringing the noise online this summer.
For the entire month of August, they are hosting virtual concerts to raise money in an effort to end hunger in Maine.
Now more than ever, Mainers are in need of food. People are without jobs, cut hours, kids are home more than usual and 2020 has, overall, not been kind to many.
The virtual concert kicks off this Friday, August 7th with a taste of Nashville and will benefit the Good Shepherd Food Bank.
The two acts are Chris Ruediger and Joseph Gallant. Both are up and coming country singers currently based in Nashville.
And if Joseph Gallant sounds familiar, well, he should. While he's in Nashville these days pursuing his career he's a Maine boy through and through.
Don't count Ruediger out though, he's from Massachusetts and brings that New England flavor too.
