As coronavirus cases rise in the state of being Governor, Mills has strengthened her position, on virus prevention. According to News Center Maine, there is a mask mandate that affects people walking on sidewalks and now inside at the following types of businesses.

  • Public indoor spaces, including restaurants, grocery stores, retail stores, pharmacies, health care facilities, fitness centers, worship centers, indoor parking garages, and municipal buildings. 
  • Public transportation and ride-sharing. 

One of the things that shock me is they talked about being outside on sidewalks as well. The rest of these places, to be honest, I thought were already banned, but now I guess it's official. What are your thoughts as the state Republican leaders say this ban goes too far. With the rising rates of Coronavirus coming up in the state after the past few weeks, it doesn't go far enough.
