3 Wild Things I Found in the Streets of Nashville That I’ve Also Found in Maine
Alright, so your girl took a little weekend trip to escape the small city of Portland for a little, right? Nashville is the best place to do this considering all you're going to have to worry about is which bachelorette party is going to be throwing paper penises at you. Amazing. I stayed on Broadway, as one does in Nash, and I did it for the people watching. You never know what you're going to find in this city, but the funny part is that all the weird things I came across, I've also seen in Maine.
Here's the 3 things I found in the streets after a night out that I've ironically also seen in the streets of the old port as a bartender in Portland. I quite literally wrote down in my phone's notepad so that I could write this today.
1. A pair of flannel patterned underwear. Truly amazing. Believe it or not, as a veteran bartender in the old port, I've seen a pair of flannel underwear at 3 am just floating in the streets of Portland.
2. Rainbow objects. I suppose this could go for any city, really, but I noticed things like headbands, hats, you name it- the street had it. Love to see pride.
3. Bras. This might sound typical for Nash and a-typical for Maine, but truly I've seen more bras on the floor after a Bonfire shift in Portland than you'd probably believe. Stay classy guys.
