The fact that lovable Maine dog Neo has been at the Kennebec Valley Humane Society for over 160 days now must be a glitch in the Matrix.

It's time to find him his forever home.

Maybe he's "The One" for you?

Let's take a look at what Neo has to offer, as this handsome, extremely smart dog is looking for his forever family.

In a Facebook post, The Kennebec Valley Humane Society said the 7-year-old dog is great at following basic commands and acquiring new skills.

His bio states that he "knows his name, sit, down, does well on leash, learning the start of heel, the "Find it" game with treats, and is always down to try and learn new tricks!"

Maybe some kung fu training in the future?

Another Facebook post highlights that Neo loves to be around his people and enjoys getting to go outdoors and roll around in the grass.

The nonprofit does note that Neo can have some separation anxiety, so you would need to be patient and understanding with him.

"He will be most successful in a home without other pets but has more than enough love to share with an entire family. That's a promise," the Facebook post adds.

As for his ideal family?

That would be an active family with children age 10+ and one "dedicated to continuing his training, helping him with his separation anxiety, and going on a lot of walks/adventures" the humane society states in his bio on their website.

Will you be "the one" to take this loveable dog home with you? I bet when you get a chance to meet Neo in person, you'll be impressed and say "Whoa" like Keanu Reeves would.
