New England Grocery Stores to Install Barriers at Checkout Lines
Grocery stores and all the workers have become the front line of the coronavirus.
While the grocery store is the one place we all still have to venture out to, Harmons Grocer in the Salt Lake City area started putting up barriers this weekend.
Even in New England they plan to add these salad guard type barriers.
According to WMTW, Stop & Shop, Shaw's and Star Market are all planning to have these barriers in the near future.
The company that runs Shaw's, has said that they plan on installing these barriers to 2,200 stores in the next couple of weeks. In the meantime, they are adding signs to remind people to stay at least 6 feet away from people.
Some stores are even putting tape down to show you where to stand.
Please do your part to not only keep yourself safe, but everyone around you. You must act like you have the coronavirus right now.
Be safe...
