White House Black Market Closed Its Maine Mall Location

I'm really bummed about WHBM closing their store at the Maine Mall. They had the cutest clothes.

I found out the hard way that one of my favorite stores had closed their doors. I was looking for a cute sun-dress to wear on my trip to Nova Scotia this weekend aboard the CAT, so I went to the mall. White House Black Market was gone, just like that. No notice. No news coverage. (At least, I didn't see or hear about it on the news.) What a disappointing way to find out.Yes, I can still order clothes online from WHBM, but I like to try clothes on before I buy them. And, even though online shopping is super convenient, returning items is not easy.

I can't even find an explanation or apology on the store's South Portland Facebook page. That's not cool!
