The Old Orchard Beach Pier has been rockin' all summer

If you haven't been to the Pier at Old Orchard Beach yet this summer, you've missed out on a hell of a season. Between locals taking advantage of the area they make home 24/7/365 and tourists providing killer people watching, the Pier has been busy and a blast all summer. Especially with all the activities all week!

Thursday nights are not only fireworks nights through August 25, but it's also Ladies Night, which means ladies get into areas of the Pier with no cover, plus take advantage of drink specials. You can flashback to big hair and neon everything with 80s Night on Fridays, and teleport to the tropics on Saturdays with Caribbean Nights.

Plus, on occasional Sundays (like this one coming up), you can take in all the eye-candy at the Top of the Pier Night Club with a Magic Mike show or other specialty show! (Last Sunday was a drag show.) Add in karaoke nights Thursday through Saturday at Hooligan's Pub at the beginning of the Pier, and it's a pretty solid weekend lineup.

But Thursday afternoons have been a highlight of the Pier too on the Sunset Deck, and today is the last one to take advantage of something massive.

Every Thursday afternoon from 3p-7p this summer, I've been broadcasting my afternoon show on Q97.9 live from the Sunset Deck at the OOB Pier.
