Ready for a new option when it comes to fresh, healthy food and smoothies?

Oola Bowls is coming to Maine for the first time, opening not one but two locations in the state.

The franchise chain will bring its brand of acai bowls, pitaya bowls, and smoothies to both Portland and Westbrook this year.

Oola Bowls Opening in Westbrook, Maine

Oola Bowls' first Maine location to open will be the one in Westbrook. You'll find it at 11 Main Street, Suite 11.

That is found right by the Chipotle in the Westbrook Crossing section of stores and restaurants (Kohl's, Panera, etc.)

Its grand opening is Saturday, August 9, 2025.

Oola Bowls Opening in Portland, Maine

Oola Bowls' second Maine spot opens up in Portland, not long after the Westbrook location debuts.

Its grand opening will be Saturday, September 13, 2025.

As for where to find it? Just stop in at 1 Monument Square in downtown.

For Oola Bowls, the food is certainly health-conscious.

According to its website, "every bowl, revitalizer, blend, swirl and brew is thoughtfully designed to help you thrive—one delicious bite at a time."

That means options like the original Oola Bowl for body balance (acai base, grandma’s granola, peanut butter, banana, strawberries, blueberries, chia seeds, coconut, honey) and the Balance Bowl for gut power (pitaya base, grandma’s granola, pineapple, apple, banana, cinnamon).

Or a tasty fresh smoothie option and soft-serve swirls might be on your docket.

It seems that this type of superfood healthy option is gaining traction in the state.

In fact, this spring and summer saw the bowl joy come to multiple places in Maine. Bay Bowls opened its third location in Bath, and Playa Bowls opened to long lines at Rock Row in Westbrook.
