Fresh off comedian John Mulaney playing two separate sold out shows in Portland this past weekend, the laughs roll on this coming weekend to the Old Port with former King of Queens star Patton Oswalt taking the stage.

'Who's Ready to Laugh?' at the State Theatre on Saturday

This Saturday night 7p at the State Theatre on Congress Street, Patton Oswalt will headline the night with his 'Who's Ready to Laugh?' tour. Patton is probably best known for his role as Spencer Olchin on the show King of Queens, as well as narrating the voice of adult Adam on the show The Goldbergs.

He was nominated for both an Emmy and a Grammy a couple years ago

Back in 2020, Patton released a comedy album and Netflix special titled I Love Everything, which was so hyped up by the critics that not only did they call it "one of the best stand-up sets you'll see all year," but they were both nominated for awards. The Netflix special was nominated for an Emmy award, while the comedy album was nominated for a Grammy award.

Patton went viral at the start of 2022 because of a prediction

With Star Wars fans excited over Disney+ dropping The Book of Boba Fett just days before the start of 2022, a clip of Patton from a 2013 episode of Parks and Recreation went viral a few days after the first episode of Boba aired. Fans were buzzing as in the clip, Patton's character on Parks and Rec pretty much manifested one of the scenes that we saw unfold on the premiere episode of Boba.

There are still tickets available to see 'Patton Oswalt Live: Who's Ready to Laugh?' this Saturday night at 7p at the State Theatre in the Orchestra sections as well as the Upper and Lower Balcony sections. Buy tickets on the State Theatre's website and enjoy the belly laughs this weekend!
