Portland and Several Other School Districts to Stay Closed Longer in Maine
Several school districts across Maine, including Portland, are now extending their hiatus until the end of April, according to the Portland Press Herald.
Letters went out to parents with the explanation that they are following the declared state of Civil Emergency from the Governor's office.
What does that mean for you? This means more homeschooling hours and curriculum learning.
You can't forget how much we love the "new math."
Auburn, Augusta, Bangor, Lewiston and Saco said on Friday they were staying closed until at least April 27, the newspaper stated.
Some schools in other states are closed for the rest of the year.
Let's hope this is cleaned up sooner than later, so we don't have to wait this long.
