All 21 people stranded 125 feet in the air at a Southern California amusement park are back on the ground.

The "Orange County Register" says it took nearly eight hours for firefighters to rescue passengers from the Knotts Berry Farm Sky Cabin.

The ride got stuck about two o-clock Friday afternoon. The passengers were lowered one by one from a harness at the end of a rope, with the last passenger rescued by 10pm. Authorities say no one was injured.

The popular enclosed ride ascends about180 feet up, giving visitors a panoramic view of the park. (TTWN Media Networks Inc.)
