Saco Drive-In Floats The Idea Of ‘Nintendo Night’ On The Big Screen
When Super Mario Bros first hit homes in the mid-80's, there were some people playing that game on 13-inch black-and-white television screens...and loving it. So imagine for a second if you had an opportunity to play that same old school video game you grew up with on...a ginormous drive-in movie theatre projection screen! Say what?
The Saco Drive-In took to Facebook this week to float the idea of having a Nintendo night on the big screen. Some commenters suggested that the Drive-In hold tournaments for popular Nintendo games like Super Mario Kart and Super Smash Bros. We can't argue with that logic, sounds sick!
The Saco Drive-in even suggested a horror game night if there's a certain amount of fog as the weather turns chilly. Silent Hill or Resident Evil on the big screen? Sounds just as frightening as some of the newest horror flicks hitting the screen.
So what do you think? Would you be into video game nights/tournaments at local drive-ins? Let us know on our Facebook page!
