Sand Sculpting Competition Returns To Hampton Beach This Week

When I was a kid, I loved building sand castles. Apparently, these people did as well... The only difference is that they never stopped, and just kept getting better and better at it! The 18th annual Hampton Beach Master Sand Sculpting Classic is this weekend. These sculptures are simply mind blowing. I can imagine that it must take a lot of patience and talent to put these together. 200 tons of sand is being brought in today for the event. The sand artists are competing for $15,000 in prize money. And here's something that sounds worth checking out - the event will be lighted for nightly viewing thru June 27th.
