Secret Santa may have retired and now calls Florida home, but he still has his elves in Maine to help spread holiday cheer.

The identity of Secret Santa truly is a secret. What isn't a secret is what Secret Santa hopes to accomplish by handing out 100-dollar bills. He really wants to help those that need a little boost this holiday season! He has given us the responsibility of not just paying it forward, but spreading the want to keep paying it forward! That's Secret Santa's true goal. He'd like the spirit to live well beyond the surprise of extra money.

We have the unbelievably awesome task of going all over Maine and handing out these $100 bills to unsuspecting Mainers. We are going to try and hit as many areas of Maine as possible before Christmas. From Biddeford to Bath, Greater Portland to the Lewiston/Auburn area. Handing out 100-dollar bills is a great honor as one of Secret Santa's elves. Giving really does make you feel good to your bones.

You may actually find us as we parade around Maine with envelopes that have a little extra something for you. Lori will be dressed as Santa and Meghan (THE new hire) is the elf carried by Santa. The outfits are to put you in a good mood immediately, the $100 is to help in any way.

If you find yourself sitting pretty this year - good for you! Take that $100 and do with it what you want. But remember - just be kind and pay it forward any way you can.
