Im really just angry at inflation in general. I think we're all pretty angry about it, right?

I understand it, but it doesn't 'mean it gets less frustrating every time a favorite business of mine is forced to shut down because their storefront rent was raised astronomically beyond their control.

Old Port Nutrition Closed

Temple St. My good friend used to own this little nutrition shop and I used to adore stopping in to visit her after work.

My studio was right across the street so everyday I'd work, workout, then go support local dreams and buy my protein shakes from her.

Then one day she opted to sell which was the best decision for her, but the saddest one for me (I'm dramatic). It was the only protein shake shop in Portland and super convenient for the gym rats in the city so we didn't have to drive out to South Portland for a different protein shop.

What took over Old Port Nutrition? Bubble Bliss Tea

Okay fine. The replacement is a really great deal now too. Bubble tea rocks but it's definitely an acquired taste.

 

Tapioca balls on the bottom of a drink aren't for everyone, especially those with that whole weird texture upsets them thing. They're absolutely for me though. Extra tapioca balls please.
