The game is just like the basic Monopoly -- except the places are in Skowhegan. And the game pieces are little bits of Skowhegan too:

  • a pine tree
  • a fish from the Kennebec River
  • an apple
  • a maple leaf
  • an ice cream sundae from Gifford’s Famous Ice Cream

Here's the big question...why? It's actually a very cool fundraiser for Main Street Skowhegan. They are raising money for a revitalization project.

So, just in time for the holidays, move your sneaker around the board and avoid Randy's Auto.
