Snow Totals: Nor’easter Dumps Over 2 Feet of Snow in Parts of Maine, NH

Now that was an epic snow dump.

Both Maine and New Hampshire got walloped with the fresh powder. The snow began in the early morning of Thursday with fast accumulation throughout the day making for mountains of the white stuff before tapering off later in the evening.

But just how much did the cities and towns get for snow?

Well, many parts of southern Maine and New Hampshire had well over 2 feet, and a few places in New Hampshire boasted around 3 feet.

Seriously. There was 3 feet of snow in areas of the Granite State. Can you imagine jumping into that snow? You'd disappear for sure!

Acton seemed to claim one of the highest, if not highest, numbers in Maine at 25.7 inches, per the National Weather Service in Gray. The NWS also highlighted Springfield at 42 inches for one of the top snowfall spots in New Hampshire.
