If you tuned into last night's episode of SEAL Team, you may have heard a song by a Maine band.

A little slice of Maine was snuck into an episode of SEAL Team on CBS. The episode Wednesday night, Season 4, episode 9 "Reckoning," featured the song "Good At Losing Everything" by Ghost of Paul Revere. The song was hard to hear, as it was playing on a jukebox in the background. If you listen closely near the end of the episode, during the bar scene, you'll faintly hear the song. The band tipped of their fans on Facebook to be sure to tune in.

This isn't the Buxton-based group's first cameo on national TV. Back in 2018, Ghost of Paul Revere made their first national TV appearance as the musical guest on Conan O'Brien's show on TBS. The GOPR tune "After Many Miles" makes a regular appearance on the show Maine Life, as the intro music.

Last year, their song, “Ballad of the 20th Maine,” was unanimously voted by the House and the Maine Senate as the Official State Ballad of Maine. The song is off their record Field Notes, Vol. 1, which was released back in 2015.

The most recent project from the folk group was released back in August of 2020. The 12-song record, titled Good at Losing Everything, is the group's fifth full-length studio album. Vocalist and guitarist, Griffin Sherry, says "I hope people listen, really listen, to this record as whole. It ebbs and flows between each of us, encapsulates a band at the edge of defying what defined us but one that still remembers who we were and what we can be." The album is now streaming on all major platforms.
