South Portland Officer Performs The Disinfectant Blues
One thing that has been consistently bringing us together through this pandemic is music.
Quarantine Karaoke, which began right here in Maine, exploded with more than 627,000 members. Amateurs and professionals from around the world are sharing their talents. Some wonderful, others are plain hilarious.
Our favorite bands and artists are giving exclusive performances from their homes and going live for fans on Facebook and Instagram. Sure, it's not the same as being at a show in the flesh, but the artists seem to be just as eager as we are to connect in whatever capacity is available.
South Portland school resource officer, Al Giusto, like many of us, is adjusting to the new normal since schools have been closed for over a month and the stay-at-home order has been in place.
Officer Giusto decided to get creative and the Disinfectant Blues was born. Honestly, I think we can all relate to this one. Check out the performance from his patrol car:
Hey if police work doesn't work out, maybe we'll see Officer Giusto down at Port City Music Hall. You know, when things to back to normal.
