Bagels are delicious. That's just a fact.

And if you're a bagel fan, 2025 has been exciting with multiple new spots opening up and focused on that tasty food, like Henry's Bagel and Deli in Kittery and PopUp Bagels in Portland.

Well, there's one more place following in those hunger-satisfying footsteps: Sunrise Bagel in Gardiner.

When Does Sunrise Bagel Open in Gardiner, Maine?

According to a Facebook post, Sunrise Bagel has finally opened its doors in Gardiner as of Friday, December 19.

This brand new bagel place is located at 463 Water Street, the former site of Sebago Lake Distillery and Water Street Grill.

It's open every day of the week, 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

Sunrise Bagel Is Located in Four Places in Maine

You might be surprised to know that the new Gardiner location is not the first Sunrise Bagel in the state.

In fact, there are three other locations: Augusta, Waterville, and Oakland.

Waterville was the first Sunrise Bagel, which opened in 2021, and hit its stride early, often selling out of bagels on multiple occasions.

The second location opened in Augusta in 2023, followed by an Oakland spot in 2024.

And the success and popularity have clearly continued to propel the business' growth with the fourth Sunrise Bagel debuting in Gardiner at 463 Water Street.
