Black Friday

For most of the country, Black Friday kicked off Thanksgiving evening after we gorged ourselves on turkey and pie. Because of blue laws in Maine that prohibit large stores from opening on Thanksgiving, lines formed at Walmarts across the state waiting for the doors to open at midnight.

On Black Friday, an Army veteran at a mall near Philadelphia saw a guy walking around in uniform, and started recording him. Why? This guy was pretending to be a solider to get more discounts!

Comedian Juston McKinney decided to poke fun at the shopping madness known as Black Friday with a new video that parodies a movie that is well loved here in Maine, "The Shawshank Redemption."
