Creepy Clowns

Some of these may be staged, but there is no doubt that most of these sightings are real. It's been called the Scary Clown Epidemic and it's growing in popularity across the U.S ever since the first scary clown photo went viral in 2014. Even Stephen King, the man who made us all fear clowns is suggesting that these people in clown costumes back it down a bit...

Scary clowns are popping up all over the United States. Personally, I think it started as just a harmless Halloween prank to give people a little jolt, a little scare for the season. If I saw a clown just standing on the side of the road this time of year I would probably jump a little and then laugh a lot...

The creepy clown hysteria that is happening all across the country reached Maine on Monday with a sighting in Orono. The man who we may have to blame for our fear of clowns posted a message on his Facebook with his take on the hysteria.

And so it begins. After the first creepy clown sighting in Maine was reported in Orono, people have sent in the clowns! Several reports have popped up of clowns in Maine, including this one on Front Street in Bath.

For the past month, there have been sightings of creepy clowns all over the country but none here in Maine...until now.
