Open Letter

It's time to bring civility back to the streets of Portland.

It's not all happiness and celebration during the holidays because so many of us are heartbroken with the constant reminders of what we once had during this time of year. I too struggle during the holidays but this is what I do.

This was just not cool.

There's a dangerous trend sweeping our streets that needs to be eradicated. People need to understand how a yield sign actually works.

Thank you to every single soul who made this possible. I truly could not have done it without you.

My experience at JCPenney in Hanover, Massachusetts, involving Steven Tyler was both a dream and a nightmare.

Shopping during the holidays can be stressful, let's not forget to use manners while shopping. I was literally able to make someone's day just by using the manners I learned as a child.

Something that was probably so simple to you, meant the world to me.

We were just a couple of gals woefully unprepared for the conditions Saturday afternoon.

This has nothing to do with farming and everything to do with passing gas next to me.

Perhaps no one has taken the time to educate you.

What's the end game here?

There is no easy way to confront this issue. There is no playbook here.
