The veteran patrol corporal with the Somerset County Sheriff's Department was remembered as a "great cop" by residents of Norridgewock today, as a nationwide manhunt lead by the FBI is underway for his suspected killer.

A New Hampshire police officer was shot to death after he responded to a domestic disturbance at a home that later exploded and burned Monday, according to WCVB. Authorities believe the gunman died in the fire.
