You may notice that some railroad crossings in Maine have medians on either side of the crossing. They may seem out of place, but there is a reason they are there.

The Westbrook Police Departement posted to their Facebook page this morning with some good news and bad news for drivers.

A few weeks back I wrote about the worst railroad crossing to drive over in Portland which has since gotten some work done. Now the same is about to happen in South Paris.

Last week I wrote about the worst railroad crossing in Portland and how it was in some dire need of repair before someone loses a tire. Well a couple of days latter it got some repair.

We know it was a rough winter in Maine and that makes roads fall apart. If you hit any of those monster potholes this spring, you know just how bad it was. Luckily most of those have been repaired. The same can't be said for the railroad crossings.
