This pizza place was voted the best pizza in Maine.

There's so many other pizzerias in Portland that fit Barstool's Dave Portnoy's exact excel sheet of what a perfect slice tastes like but he ignored them. He knew he wouldn't like Slab's thick, deep-dish pizza but he still chose to review it out of everywhere. WEIRD. Here we go, ready?

It was also hilarious when this man decided to take a little trek to Portland, Maine for his infamous One Bite Reviews & I almost lost it when I saw on the gram that he reviewed my favorite za place. However...he wasn't as thrilled as I was to grab a slice from Slab Sicilian Street Food in Portland, Maine.

These ones felt like staples in the community that would never really go away.. until they did.

Jessica & Brandon Tenney, the owners of the already popular Truckin' Pizza truck are excited to take over the empty space that was once Slab Sicilian Street Food on Preble St. in Portland.

He gave the place a 8.4 out of 10 score, and according to newscentermaine, Monte's ranks in the top 100 out of all 1,568 pizza reviews Portnoy had done by the time of that visit. I just have one other opinion on this list.

"To me this is like Sicilian Fair Food" he says, which damn Dave tough crowd. Slab is the furthest thing from "fair" food, but I guess it depends how good you think fair food really is.
