Keith Carson, former weatherman at WCSH TV in Portland, has announced on his Facebook page that he is leaving the Weather Channel.

Remember WCSH 6 meteorologist Keith Carson, the GQ looking guy who always wore those tight shirts? He moved on to the big time at The Weather Channel and recently lost a bet that he had to pay off on live TV.

Apparently when you are a weather geek, weather really gets you excited. Heck, there was even a Press Herald article about Kevin Mannix Monday. But watch as Jim Cantore from the Weather Channel goes 'double rainbow' about 'thunder snow'!

During Saturday's NBC Nightly News, Lester Holt cut to Weather Channel Meteorologist Mike Seidel who was out in the snow for a live report. It appeared that Mike was instead writing his name in the snow.
