things to do in Maine this weekend

When I first heard about Plow Day I, like many Mainers coming off a brutal winter, was thinking of snow plows and wondering why there would be a day for those plows in the spring. Didn't we see enough of them over the winter?

The classes are a great way to make new friends and of course get some fresh, sea air and stretch and bend and breathe.

This is the very first Snowshoe Wife Carrying Championship at Sunday River and it happens this Saturday.

After the game Sunday, the Mariners will show Mighty Ducks D2 on the Jumbotron at the Cross Insurance Arena. Make sure you stock up on popcorn and snacks at the concession stand during the game, then sit back and enjoy the 1994 classic.
