The Most Popular Pumpkin Spice Items in Each New England State
I'm not quite sure when the pumpkin spice craze originally became a thing, but man it has gotten a little out of hand. There are so many things you can get that taste or smell like pumpkin spice. Like clockwork every fall, it all starts hitting store shelves. Did you know there are pumpkin spice-scented tissues? Who asked for those?
Google Trends recently released a map showing each state's uniquely searched pumpkin spice food and drinks. Give it up for Pennsylvania for choosing Pumpkin Spice Vodka and Oregon for picking the Pumpkin Spice White Russian. Those are some solid choices and I'll join them for a drink any day.
In New England however, we didn't get that creative. In fact, some of the choices for the New England States are downright odd. It makes you wonder why in the world they are searching for these things.
So let's take a look at the six New England States and see which one has the weirdest search for pumpkin spice products.
MAINE
Mainers love their creamer I guess, but I've always wondered as a non-coffee drinker, do people choose pumpkin spice creamer, pumpkin spice coffee or do they double down and get both?
NEW HAMPSHIRE
The same question goes for New Hampshire. Pumpkin spice bagels, pumpkin spice cream cheese or both?
VERMONT
Duh.
MASSACHUSETTS
Hello Massachusetts! Maine would like to introduce you to pumpkin spice creamer.
CONNECTICUT
Oh you crazy Connecticut residents. Is this what you really want? The rest of New England thinks you should secede and become part of New York for this kind of thinking.
RHODE ISLAND
This is acceptable. You might as well double down too Rhode Island and toss in a few pumpkin spice mini marshmallows.
