The New Oxford Casino Hotel and Ox Pub are Spectacular [VIDEO]

I ate like a Viking, had a little to drink, played the slots and was grateful I was staying just feet away from it all...

The room is everything that you look for. It's inviting, warm, cozy and has everything you need...

After checking in, we went down to the new Ox Pub. It's ridiculously good. They offer Maine-sourced food, it's a mix of upscale and casual dining, full bar (super important), 20 beers on tap with a huge variety of bottled beers and will hold nearly 150.

We had a hell of a meal. They brought out an insane amount of food. Challenge accepted!

The menu is varied. Kofta? I friggin love Kofta. It's ground lamb and it's amazing. Jeff even had some...and liked it!

This is Arancini. Wild mushroom risotto, parmesan and OX aioli. Delicious!

We had a variety of sliders: seafood, southwestern chicken, Wagyu beef on new brioche buns. We had the seared ahi tuna, beet and spinach salads (really great!), fries, sweet potato fries, onion rings...and that was just the appetizers!

Then we had for sharing main courses, beef short ribs, ribeye and cedar grilled salmon.

I was so full, I actually passed on dessert. I know!

I'm really happy for these guys. They survived our giant wind storm and have worked hard on this new opening. I love it. Oh, and they added 125 new slot machines as they expanded the gaming floor too! They now have nearly 1,000 slot machines!
