"Alice in Wonderland" always makes me wonder, but I guess that is what it is supposed to do. With characters like Cheshire Cat, the Mad Hatter, and of course the Queen of Hearts, you have to wonder what made them all "mad."

You may have read the book or seen the movie, but imagine trying to save Alice and escape Wonderland with friends or family. Would you dare to follow the White Rabbit to Wonderland?

A topsy turvy adventure to Wonderland is coming to the streets of Portland, Maine, for one day.

On Saturday, August 27th, the streets will be transformed into one big escape room experience. It will be an app-based escape room that will take about 2 to 3 hours to complete.

You will need to form a team, so start planning on who you'd want to go on a journey with. Groups have to be a minimum of two players and a maximum of six players.

Venture into Wonderland to find a dark conspiracy that's hiding.

Clues will be given that will make you curious and curiouser.  Just like the Mad Hatter, you will run into some madness and mischievous people and clues.

However, if you are wondering what streets this will be taking over, that will not be announced until 2 weeks before the event.

If you are a fan of "Alice in Wonderland" and are up for a challenge, this is the perfect adventure for you.

Be sure to note that if you choose to embark on the journey to Wonderland, you can enter any time between 9 am and 2 pm.

Plus, there is even more motivation. Some teams will receive prizes (I am unsure what the prizes will actually be).

This seems like this event will be fun for all ages, and something I would definitely be interested in getting a group together to go do! Plus I would be the person to dress up as a character for this adventure.
