If you think I'm a geek for collecting comic books and Star Wars memorabilia, I'm about to redefine geek collection for you. This guy has uploaded his entire collection of K-Mart background music from the late 80's and early 90's because he knows you want to listen to it.

Mark Davis worked for K-Mart back when the music you heard in the store was played off a cassette sent to stores each month. This was back when stores played Musak also known as elevator music. Today you'll hear actual popular songs in stores, not the awful music you couldn't hear anywhere except when you were shopping for the blue light special.

For some reason, Mark kept every cassette sent to his store instead of just throwing them out like he was supposed to. I mean why not? Maybe he knew it would be a part of history 20 years later.

I know you want to hear it, so here's a video of Mark showing off his collection. And if you you really want to geek out, you can listen to every single tape because that's what the internet is for...kittens and K-Mart music.
