This Maine Restaurant Has Something Unique Only Males Will See
290 Maine Street Restaurant and Pub didn't have to think hard to get their name. It's their address with a E added onto Main. Clever. But what some people will see inside I think is even more clever.
I grew up in Norway and South Paris and remember the building at 290 Main Street being the home of V.H. Ashton, a TV and appliance company. Local businesses like that are hard to find these days, but downtown Norway still thrives with unique businesses occupying the building that used the be shoe, clothing and department stores.
290 Maine Street takes unique to a whole new level when you walk into the men's room and see this.
If you didn't catch it, look close and you'll see what this urinal used to be.
That's right. It's keg that has been cut and rigged with plumbing to be a urinal. It's authentic too, with the Anheuser-Busch name on it. What did it used to contain before it started it's new life? Bud Light.
There are jokes here and I'm sure you've come up with your own, but I think this is pretty awesome. I'm pretty sure I'm never going to think of peeing the same way again.
