Here’s When You Can Visit This Free Booster Clinic in Portland, Maine
Unfortunately, this whole COVID thing isn’t a fever dream and we are very much still in the thick of it.
Time makes no sense, I have no idea what was one year ago or three, and I’m still tapping my pockets making sure I have my phone, wallet, keys, and mask at all times.
We have been slowly crawling toward normalcy but with ten steps back for every one step forward. At this point, we know the deal and what we need to do, we just have to do it.
One of those things is getting vaccinated.
I’m not going to get into the whole, “if everyone had just gotten vaccinated when we were told the virus wouldn’t have spread and mutated like it did” because we have science for that.
I’m just here to let you know there are FREE BOOSTER CLINICS happening now in Portland.
Portland Regional Chamber of Commerce, Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, and MaineHealth are teaming up to deliver a free “Healthy for the Holidays” booster clinic this week.
Here’s what you need to know:
- The clinic is at MaineHealth’s corporate office at 110 Free Street in Portland.
- They are accepting walk-ins TODAY (Monday, Dec. 20) from 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
- They are taking appointments tomorrow (Tuesday, Dec. 21) from 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
- You can sign up for your vaccination here: https://vaccine.mainehealth.org/
As someone who lives with her 90-year-old grandpa, getting boosted was my way of saying, "I love you and I care about you".
We are all in this together. Do your part!
