Most people are excited about tomorrow, just because of the fact that it's Friday, the start of the weekend, and the best stretch of weather we've seen in about eight months. But there's yet another reason to be excited about tomorrow - it's National Donut Day!
National Donut Day is not a new or even recently created thing. In fact, according to Wikipedia, it started back in 1938. It began as a fundraiser for the Salvation Army during the great depression. And here we are, over 80 years later, still celebrating it. Probably because donuts are so delicious. I mean, who doesn't love them...am I right?
In honor of National Donut Day, Dunkin is offering it's guests a free classic donut of their choice, with the purchase of any beverage.
