Waterfront Concerts has announced another show for the summer lineup at Bangor's Waterfront Pavilion featuring a perfect pairing of Train and Goo Goo Dolls. Both acts made it big in the mainstream back in the 1990s.

Train broke onto the music scene in 1998 with their self-titled album that introduced the world to the hit "Meet Virginia." That was followed up in 2002 with "Drops of Jupiter" which earned the band two Grammy Awards. The title track peaked at number 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Goo Goo Dolls's Dizzy Up The Girl was released in 1998 and is still their best selling album to date thanks to songs like "Iris," "Black Balloon" and their number 1 smash "Slide."

A video on Train's YouTube channel made the announcement of the tour of these two amazing bands today.

Train and Goo Goo Dolls will play the Bangor Waterfront Pavilion on July 30, 2019. Tickets go on sale to the general public on November 16 at noon through Ticketmaster or the Waterfront Concerts website.
