Treworgy Family Orchards in Maine Named Best Corn Maze in US for 5th Time in a Row
Treworgy Family Orchards in Levant, Maine, just earned the title of best corn maze in the United States for 2026, per USA Today's 10 Best Readers' Choice Awards.
That's certainly amazing recognition, especially when there are tons of corn mazes across the country. Just as a reference, CBS News noted that there were over 500 of them in 2024.
But here's the real incredible feat: this is the fifth year in a row that Treworgy has been named the No. 1 corn maze. Yup. Five times. Worth standing up and cheering for... and maybe even trying to traverse their latest maze.
Where is the best corn maze in Maine?
If you're wondering how Treworgy landed the title of best corn maze in Maine and the US, USA Today had an expert panel narrow down the possible contenders to 20 before readers got a chance to vote on the top 10.
And the Levant corn maze pulled off the win for its fifth time in a row. A lot of people really like this spot!
The farm's website said that it has the longest continually running corn maze in the state, starting in 2001, and has "60,000 corn plants [that] make up each 4-acre maze, and most of the stalks grow up to 10 feet tall."
Think Cooper Flagg could jump and see over the top of the stalks?
What is the 2026 design for Treworgy Family Orchards Corn Maze in Levant, Maine?
Treworgy has had a wide range of fun designs over the years, including last year's whale maze based on Robert McCloskey’s children's book "Burt Dow, Deep-Water Man."
For 2026, the corn maze is full-on patriotic, celebrating the 250th anniversary of the U.S. From above, you can see the Statue of Liberty, a soaring eagle, the cracked Liberty Bell, and the number 250.
The maze opened back in July, so it's already received a bunch of visitors and is waiting for its next ones looking to get lost amongst the stalks.
