Looking for a way to help those in Ukraine? These twins and their older brother need your help to get to Maine.

Chelsea and Andrew Davies have hosted twins, known only as 'A' and 'D' for their protection, for a couple of sessions. They were with Chelsea and Andrew last summer for 10 weeks and then spent Christmas break with the family. But with the war in Ukraine, communication has gotten sparse and they are worried sick about these boys and doing everything they can to get them back in Maine. Only this time they want to bring their older brother 'M' too.

Chelsea wrote on her Facebook page:

I am weary. I am weary of the worry. Today, our boys region is under heavy attack. D was able to send a brief message. But I have not heard from A or M in three days. I have heard that where they are is out of power and that may be why they haven’t been able to call or message. I hope they are warm enough. I hope they have food. I hope they can feel my love across the ocean. Our organization is checking in daily with the directors on the ground to see if there is any talk of evacuation. Nothing yet. I can’t help but worry that it is only going to get worse over there. These boys have lived through enough trauma…and then adding war on top of it…I feel like I have aged 10 years in 10 days. Thank you all for your continued prayers and support

This is where you can help. They have set up GoFundMe page to raise money to help get all three boys to Maine. It would be a hell of a journey, with getting them safely out of Ukraine the first step.

They told WGME13,

We're talking about what can we do for them because this is terrible. So if we can get them to a neighboring country where it's safe then maybe the U.S. can grant emergency visas for the kids that have been hosted here before.

The last communication they had with the boys is that they are in a safe area of Ukraine. However, D and M do not have power and the Davies haven't heard from them because of it.

Because of Covid, M has not been able to make the trip to Maine. He is 14 and his twin brothers are 12. The ultimate goal is that all three kids come to Maine. Where it's safe, where they are loved and where they can prosper. The Davies have a two-year-old daughter who is also looking forward to the family being whole again. This is M.

The lasting words of Chelsea are to help all the orphans in Ukraine...

We are asking people to spread awareness. There are 100,000 orphans in Ukraine. Our wish is for America to grant emergency visas to these kids once they are in neighboring countries. Especially to the kids that have been hosted in America before that have families here that love them.
