VIDEO: 14-Year-Old Niko from Westbrook Meets His Football Hero, James White!
Last night, the Q brought New England football hero James White to the Westbrook performing arts center, and 14-year-old Niko won our "Kid Ambassador" contest to meet James and escort him for the event.
Niko wrote the winning essay in our contest, and we selected him to get up-front VIP access at the victory celebration!
James White, who caught the winning touchdown pass in the Big Game this year, talked about Niko and how much alike they are.
“His dad was in the military, I have family in the military - so it's pretty cool, we can relate there,” White said about Niko’s family. “It's awesome to see kids be able to write. That's very important. That will take you a long way.”
